A series 33 bifurcated axial fan

Motor protection where it's needed most

A high-quality fan designed to withstand continuous hot temperatures and with a protected motor that does not get exposed to any particles within the airstream. Ideally suited for exhausting or re-circulating fumes, gases and hot air.
  • Motor mounted outside the air stream
  • Suitable for continuous operation for temperatures from 100°C to 200°C

It is also sometimes required for a fan to be able to deal with hot temperature continuously, or where you have got particles within the air stream that would damage a motor if it was unprotected. Bifurcated means that the motor is held within its own protected tunnel and therefore does not get exposed to what the air stream is carrying. Mainly though, most of the applications for where JM Bifurcated are used are much lower temperatures. Typically it would be a kitchen hood extract in a commercial or large scale catering establishment. This is a growing requirement when direct heat is used in the cooking industry for example. For the JM Aerofoil range, we offer fans up to 200˚C continuous operation.
