Provide improved ventilation and energy savings at the Scania factory in Sheffield offering energy efficient replacements.
Upgrade or replace the existing ventilation system on site.
Woods Air Movement identified a way to save energy and improve the ventilation was to replace the existing roof fans using modern EC motor technology.
The brief was to refurbish or upgrade each of the existing roof fan units at Scania in Sheffield. The existing units had reached the end of their serviceable life and Woods Air Movement were invited to offer their suggestions. We identified a way to save energy and improve the ventilation was to replace the existing roof fans using modern EC motor technology.
The project scope was therefore to provide energy efficient replacement roof fans to match the performance and size of the existing units on site providing improved ventilation within the garage, whilst offering efficient motor technology with simple 0-10 volt control. A site survey was carried out with the fans supplied to Michael L Phillips Electrical Services to complete the install and commission.
