Project

Ventilation for Light Railway Tunnel stretching 19 kilometres for the Lusail Urban Development Project North of Doha, servicing 25 stations in total.

Need

Supply of tunnel ventilation Fans to provide cooling into all LRT Tunnels with the help of Air Handling Units in normal and Congestion Modes, as well as for both LRT underground Stations and Tunnels provide control smoke in emergency fire mode.

14 x 1.4m diameter Tunnel Booster Jet Fans 250°C @ 2hrs

The project had a need for ventilation for a light railway tunnel stretching 19km for the Lusail Urban Development project which will service 25 stations.

The solution we offered was ventilation for the tunnel but also for emergency in case of a fire by providing smoke extraction in the tunnel.
